Kurultai at Three Banners Pass!

The location for the coming kurultai of the Aligned Princes of Keizai has been announced. The gathering will be held in Three Banners Pass, the site of the Princes’ heroism against the barbarian hordes of the ash wastes. New princedoms will be recognized formally, granting official titles from the representatives of the Free States of Balt. It is believed that the Free States will recognize princedoms from the northern reaches of the Keizai mountains. The Satrapy of Bracken has declared this is an infringement on their sovereignty.

Grand Peregrination to Zeel

The Grand Peregrination of the Child Dynast continues, traveling from Kheprikel toward Zeel. Following the sudden departure from Tatlankel for Kheprikel and the recall of the Sirdar to protect the Child Dynast there, sources claimed that the Peregrination would return to Amarnec. The new destination of Zeel suggests that no direct attempt to depose the Hierophant’s regency will be made. The rulers and priests of Zeel make ready to welcome the Child Dynast, now at the head of a host of his Strong Arms.

First Servant in Ill Health

For the second week, daily prayers have been said by Hem Nebwenenef at the Temple of Renewed Praise on behalf of First Servant Bekkar. A temple spokesman reports that the First Servant is indisposed and the gods smile upon Hem Nebwenenef for his devotions. Temple sources tell the Proclaimer that the First Servant is in ill health, showing signs of his advanced age. With First Servant Bekkar as the next most senior and respected priest and the assumed successor to the Hierophant, the priesthood is in turmoil. Citizens of Keltokel should follow temple dictates and announcements closely for warning of shortfalls in city services.

Polto Protests Blame for Plague Outbreak

Following declarations in the Baltine Diet placing blame for the outbreak of plague in Wittem on the negligence of Polto border controls, the Polto embassy has repudiated these claims. “Our fair country,” Polto ambassador Gerrold Mahanay conveyed in prepared remarks on behalf of the Provisional Government, “has suffered greatly, first at the hands of the soldati invaders, then by our supposed liberators during the Spasm, and then from plagues of undeath. But we will not suffer spurious accusations of culpability! Our neighbors would not come to our aid in the years since the war, and now they decry the spread of the rot they would not help exterminate!”
